Skyview High School is a 4-year public school, grades 9-12, located on the outskirts of Soldotna, Alaska. The population varies from 400- 500 students. The Skyview Mascot is the Panther, and the principal is Randy Neill. School hours are between 7:50 am and 2:26 pm. The school consists of about 400 students that are from the outlying cities on the peninsula (Soldotna, Kenai, Kasilof, Sterling). It also houses River City Academy, and alternative school for students who want to get ahead or who are falling behind. RCA consists of roughly 50-75 students.

History

Skyview High School has been open for 20 years and is the newest school added to the Peninsula. It was built to relieve the over-crowded Soldotna High School.

Sports

Skyview offers the following sports: Wrestling, Football, Volleyball (Women's), Softball (Women's), Baseball (depending on turnout), Soccer, Cross Country Running, Cross Country Skiing, Cheerleading, Track and Field, Basketball, and Swimming.
